Suggestions for a successful Cement Tile experience.
Step 1: Measure, re-measure, and measure again. To avoid additional costs down the road, its important to order the entire lot of tile required
for your project at one time. This will help to avoid project delays or additional shipping costs related to shortage of tile.
Step 2: Add 15-20% overage to the projects exact square footage in allowance for waste, cuts, and borders. If the project space is odd-shaped
or has many areas where cuts need to be made, 20% overage is recommended. Additionally, it is recommended to order 1 extra box for the sole
purpose of being placed into storage. Cement Tile is handmade and colors vary from one production run to the next. If a tile ever needs to be
replaced, finding an exact match will not be possible. Keep a box in storage for this purpose.
Because Cement Tile is decorative in nature, its rare that more than 1 installation cut can be made from a tile. Do not order less than the
recommended overage (15-20%).
Step 3: Order your tile and TerraNano sealer at the same time for combined shipping.
Step 4: Read the installation guidelines and/or provide the guidelines to your installer. Seek technical help prior to beginning installation when
possible.
