Technical Specifications
Only personnel with proper protective equipment should handle spills. Windblown material may cause
hazards described in section 2. It is recommended to dampen the material slightly and scoop or shovel
into appropriate waste containers right away. Flush the remaining spill material with water.
Section 7 – Handling and Storage
Store containers in a dry, ventilated warehouse location. Keep containers closed when not in use.
Wash hands thoroughly after each use. Only use product in well‐ventilated areas. Care should be taken
to avoid ingestion, inhalation and contact with the eyes and skin.
Section 8 – Personal Protection and Exposure Controls
Hand Protection: Wear suitable rubber gloves.
Eye Protection: Wear suitable safety glasses or face shield to prevent exposure. Do not touch
eyes with contaminated body parts or objects. Do not wear contact lenses.
Always work near a working eye wash station.
Inhalation Protection: Wear appropriate NIOSH/MSHA approved dust respirator. Follow respirator
manufacturer’s directions for use. Always use in well‐ventilated areas.
Skin‐body Protection: Avoid contact with skin by wearing shoes and clothes.
