PRODUCT APPLICATION (cont.)
APPLICATION
Apply only when air and surface temperatures are between
50-100°F (10-38°C) and humidity is below 85% to ensure
proper drying. Before using, stir thoroughly to ensure any
settled pigment is re-dispersed. Thinning is not required.
However, in hot, dry conditions, you may thin up to ½ pint
with fresh water per gallon to extend to workable brushing
time.
Use a good quality brush. Avoid excessive brushing as this
will reduce film thickness and protection. Use light even
brush strokes to ensure proper coverage and the smoothest
finish. Use a good quality synthetic roller. Cover
approximately one square yard at a time. Roll away from
previously coated area and work back to it for a uniform
appearance.
DRY & RECOAT
Dry and recoat times are based on 70°F (21°C) and 50%
relative humidity. Allow more time at cooler temperatures.
Dries to the touch in 1-2 hours, to handle in 2-4 and can be
recoated after 1-3 hours. Topcoat with a brush on latex or
brush on oil based enamel in 1-2 hours and an aerosol in
16-24 hours.
CLEAN-UP
Clean brush, roller, and other and tools with soap and water.
