SURFACE PREPARATION
ALL SURFACES: Remove all dirt, grease, oil, salt and
chemical
contaminants by washing the surface with a commercial d

or other suitable cleaning method. Rinse thoroughly with

water and allow to fully dry. All surfaces must be dry at time

STEEL: Scrape and wire brush or power tool clean to remove

oose
rust, scale and deteriorated previous coatings. Use 7769

Metal Primer for sound rusted or clean metal before application

finish coat. 7780 White Clean Primer is best for clean metal
but
may be used on sound rusted metal as
well.
PREVIOUSLY COATED:
Previously coated surfaces must be so

Enamels are compatible with most coatings, but a

Before using, stir thoroughly to ensure any settled pigment is

-
dispersed. If necessary, thin the material with acetone. For brush
or roller, thinning is not normally required. For air spray, thin up
to
15% with Acetone. Do not thin with gasoline, lacquer

turpentine, etc. For airless spray, thinning is not normally

.
Apply with a good quality brush, roller or spray gun

Brush:
Use light, even strokes Excessive brushing reduces

Roller:
A 3/8" nap roller should be used on rough s

Cover approximately one square yard at a time. Roll a
