When applying the RockSolid Diamond
Coat
®
as a top coat, it must be applied
within 7 days of the Chip, Metallic or Color
System application.
™
additive or a small amount
of clean, dry silica sand is recommended for a
non-slip surface.

protection in areas of heavy use or high

pouch will cover
approximately 300 square feet over a sealed
surface. If this product is being used as a clear
coat directly over concrete, the spread rate will
vary due to the porosity of the surface; 250
square feet is the recommended spread rate
per kit.

have a 1 hour pot life. That means you have
1 hour to apply this product to the concrete.
Pot life will vary due to temperature. As
temperatures rise above 80 degrees pot life will
be shortened.

Prior to clear coat application, make sure
oor is free of dust, dirt, and debris as
anything on the oor will end up in the
clear coat.
A. Place tarp on the ground and thoroughly
mix the material in the pouch by shaking
and squeezing each side of the pouch. Any
clumps need to be massaged to break them
up and blend them in with the rest of the

B. Combine the two components by placing
the pouch on the ground and rolling it from
the Part A side towards the Part B side
like a tube of toothpaste. This will create
pressure in the Part A side and force the
middle seal to burst, allowing the two
components to mix together. Thoroughly
mix the materials by shaking the pouch
back and forth and squeezing the edges
and corners towards the center of the
pouch. Mixing should be done for at least
activated and must be used within 1 hour.
C. Once the material is thoroughly mixed, use
a scissors to cut a corner off of the pouch.
Then pour contents of the pouch into a
paint tray. Any left-over material can stay in
Coat
®
box to hold the pouch until needed.
Use a 3” brush to cut in around the edges.
Use ONLY a 3/8” nap, de-linted, high quality
out in an M and W pattern to spread the
material. Backroll until you have a nice thin
coat of material over the entire surface.

CURE TIME:
the average cure time is 8-10 hours for
foot trafc, 24 hours for heavy use.

It is recommended to wait at least 36 hours
for vehicle trafc. Lower temperatures will
require longer cure times.
