SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be clean, sound and free from dirt, grease,
oil, mold, algae, loose granules, loose gravel, loose paint,
rust, excess chalk and other foreign matter which could
prevent proper adhesion.

may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO
LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS
BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN YOUNG CHILDREN.
PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE.
Wear a NIOSH-approved respirator to control lead exposure.
Clean up carefully with a HEPA vacuum and a wet mop.
Before you start, find out how to protect yourself and your
family by contacting the National Lead Information Hotline at

PRODUCT APPLICATION (cont.)
APPLICATION
Apply only when air, material, and surface temperatures are
between 40-120ºF (4-49ºC) and the relative humidity is
below 85%.
Apply with a trowel directly over a cleaned substrate at a rate
of 12 square feet per gallon or approximately ⅛” thick. When
making roof repairs or striping over the top of flashing laps,
perform a 3-course repair consisting of one application of
Advanced Wet or Dry Roof Repair followed by an embedded
strip of Rust-Oleum Universal Patching Fabric or other
mesh, followed by a final application of Advanced Wet or Dry
Roof Repair.
CARTRIDGE: Place cartridge in cradle type caulking gun.
Cut tip and puncture seal in spout. Squeeze trigger slowly.
Apply a 1/4" -1/2" bead of sealant to areas that are to be
sealed.
COVERAGE
Each gallon will cover approximately 12 square feet when
applied at ⅛" thick. Actual coverage will vary depending
upon ambient temperature and surface conditions.
DRY & RECOAT TIMES
Dry and recoat times are based on 70ºF and 50% relative
humidity. Product will reach full cure in 7 days.
Environmental or site specific conditions may lead to a
variation in dry time.
CLEAN-UP
Wash tools and equipment with mineral spirits. Wipe up
spills before they dry. Properly dispose of all soiled rags and
containers.
LIMITATIONS
Not for use on coal tar membranes. Repairs made to wet
surfaces should be considered temporary as trapped
moisture may expand when heated by the sun causing
blisters and potentially new leaks. For permanent repairs,
open up the area and allow it to dry thoroughly. Product can
not be applied to surfaces that are under water or situated in
ponding water.
