DESCRIPTION AND USES
Rust-Oleum
®
Roof Patch Cleaner & Primer is a solvent-
based cleaner that clears away dirt and debris and contains
an adhesion promoter to increase adhesion of roof patch
and sealant products to existing roof substrates. When used
with the Rust-Oleum
®
Triple Thick Roof Patch & Sealer the
quick-dry formulation is ideal for efficient roof repairs saving
both time, and money while providing long-term protection
from leaks.
Use on a variety of roofing substrates including metal,
aluminum, Kynar
®
, concrete, modified bitumen, gutters,
all single-ply membranes, and previously coated substrates
not including silicone coatings. (Kynar

NOTE: Do not use on asphalt-based, granule, and porous
substrates.
PRODUCT APPLICATION
APPLICATION
Use outdoors or in a well ventilated area. Use when
temperature is between 40-120°F (10-48°C) and humidity is
below 85% to ensure proper drying.
Shake can vigorously for one minute after mixing ball
begins to rattle. Shake often during use. If mixing ball
fails to rattle DO NOT STRIKE CAN. Contact Rust-
Oleum. Apply product directly to substrate and lightly
saturate the surface. After 15-30 seconds, wipe clean
using a rag or cloth, and immediately apply roof patch
and repair product directly to the cleaned surface.
TOPCOAT: Immediately after wiping.
CLEAN-UP
Wipe tip off before storing. Clean up wet or dry coating with
Xylene or mineral spirits. Throw away empty can in trash
pick-up. Do not burn or place in home trash compactor.
