.DESCRIPTION AND USES .
Rust-Oleum
®
Paver Rejuvenator with Algae Defense is a ready-
to-use concrete paver sealer specifically designed to enhance
the color of new pavers and restore faded paver to their original
color. Rust-Oleum Paver Rejuvenator with Algae Defense
protects against algae growth so less time is spent cleaning
troubled areas. This advance formula is water repellent which
protects against de-icing salts and water due to freeze thaw
damage. It penetrates below the surface, is non-slippery and
long-lasting. This clear formula works with any color paver.
Application is quick and easy using a standard garden sprayer or
paint roller.
This product is suitable for use on interior and exterior precast
concrete pavers. DO NOT use on previously sealed pavers,
glazed tile, clay brick, pour or stamped concrete, or other non-
porous surfaces. This product is recommended for driveways,
walkways porches and patios.

..PRODUCT APPLICATION .
SURFACE PREPARATION
Proper surface preparation is critical to achieve the best
results. Sweep away all loose dirt and debris. Clean
pavers with Jomax
®
House Cleaner and Mildew Killer
(preferred) or a comparable bleach and water solution.
Follow all label directions carefully. Scrub pavers with
cleaning solution. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
Repeat rinsing as necessary to remove residual cleaning
solution until suds disappear. To remove oil stains, use
EpoxyShield Heavy Duty Degreaser. Allow the surface to
dry overnight. Mask adjacent surfaces to allow application
up to all edges. Protect delicate foliage from overspray.
..PRODUCT APPLICATION .
APPLICATION
Do not thin. Apply when the product, air and surface
temperatures are between 50-90°F (10-32°C) and
humidity is below 85% during the day and night. Do not
apply in direct sunlight. Do not apply if rain is expected
within 24 hours.
Pavers must be dry for proper penetration of the sealer.
Apply using a standard garden sprayer with an adjustable
spray tip. An alternate method is to apply with a ⅜” to ½”
nap roller from a paint tray. Do not pour sealer directly on
the surface.
Stir or shake container to mix sealer. Fill the pump sprayer
with sealer and fully pressurize the sprayer. Set sprayer tip
to a medium-fine mist and spray 10-12” from the surface.
Start and stop the sprayer just off the work area to prevent
drips. For larger areas, work in 10’ x10’ sections at a time
before moving to the next section.
Product will appear milky white but dries clear. Apply
sealer evenly using a circular or oval pattern. Apply a
saturating coat so pavers remain wet for several minutes
before the sealer is absorbed. If applying only one coat,
wait 5-10 minutes, then back roll with a ⅜” or ½” nap roller
to remove any puddles and soften overlap marks. To
achieve a richer, darker color and provide for ultimate
protection, apply a second coat as soon as the first coat
has lost wet sheen appearance. Wait 5-10 minutes and
back roll to remove any puddles. A second coat can also
be applied after the first coat dries completely.
DRY & RECOAT TIMES
Dry and recoat times are based on 70°F (21°C) and 50%
relative humidity. Allow a minimum of 2 hours for foot
traffic. Wait overnight before returning heavy items,
furniture and vehicles.
COVERAGE
Each gallon covers up to 200 square feet. Two coats are
recommended. Actual coverage will vary depending on the
porosity of the surface and the desired darkness. Porous
pavers will require application of more product.
CLEAN-UP
Clean hands and tools with soapy water. Spills on a
sealed surface will be slippery. Spills, drips and runs that
have dried may be removed using mineral spirits. Properly
discard of empty container.
