COLOR SHIFT Aerosol
DESCRIPTION Contains advanced light interference pigments that change color with movement to
provide a color shifting effect for all surfaces including wood, metal, glass and plastic.
USES Ideal for bikes, helmets, running boards, rims, skateboards, home décor items,
automotive accessories and more.
APPEARANCE Provides a color shifting effect that changes color with movement.
SURFACE PREPARATION Remove loose paint and rust with wire brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand glossy
surfaces. Clean with soap and water, rinse and let dry.
Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area such as an open garage. Use when
temperature is between 50°F (10°C) and 90°F (32°C) and humidity is below 85% to
ensure proper drying. Do not apply to surfaces that, when heated, exceed 200°F or
galvanized metal. Avoid spraying in very windy, dusty conditions. Cover surrounding
area to protect from spray mist.
MIXING Shake can vigorously for one minute after mixing ball begins to rattle. Shake the can
often during use.
APPLICATION Must apply over a black base (black primer, paint or surface) for best results.
Hold can 16” from surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly
overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface. Keep the
can in motion while spraying. Apply 3 or more light coats a few minutes apart. The
more coats, the more dramatic the effect. If a second coat is desired, apply within 1
hour or after 24 hours.
CLEAN UP Wipe off tip. Clean up wet paint with Xylol or mineral spirits. Throw away empty can in
trash pickup. Do not burn or place in home trash compactor. If valve clogs, twist and
pull off spray tip and rinse it in a solvent such as mineral spirits. Do not stick pin or
other object into the stem.
