Instructions / Assembly
PREPARE FOR THE PROJECT
For best results take cabinet doors off hinges and drawers out of frames. Remove all
cabinet hardware, including hinges, drawer pulls, and knobs. Laying cabinet doors and
drawers on a flat, horizontal surface while coating will ensure the easiest application and
best outcome. Create an assembly line of cabinet doors and drawers to speed up the
process.
A. Establish a location in close proximity to your kitchen to stage and coat your
cabinet doors and drawers. Garages or basements are ideal locations for this step.
Be certain that this area is dirt and dust free, out of the sun, and away from the wind.
It is recommended that your work area be well ventilated, but do not use a fan.
Create a work table
using a fold-out table or
craft paper covered
board with sawhorses.
Tarp off the floor, table,
and surrounding area.
B. Sketch a layout of your
kitchen, numbering all
doors and drawers.
Once complete,
label all doors and
drawers according to
the sketch shown to the
right with a piece of
smooth painter’s tape.
