Q. PLEASE DEFINE LIGHT USE VERSUS FULL USE?
A. Once the Protective Top Coat is dry it is okay to wipe down the surface with
water; okay for contact with light weight items under 5 pounds; and okay
for light food preparation. The Protective Top Coat needs to dry for 48
hours before light use, such as:

Light weight items under 5 pounds
•
Light food preparation
•
Wiping down surface with sponge and water
•
Cleaners or chemicals
•
Water pooling
•
Using a toaster or crockpot
The countertops need to dry for 7 days before resuming normal use. Never
use harsh chemicals or super-abrasives to clean your countertops. Wait 48
hours before caulking around the sink with 100% silicone caulk.

SURFACES?
A. Caring for your resurfaced countertops is easy. To clean the surface, use a
damp cloth or sponge and a mild soap or detergent. The easiest way to
avoid stains is to not let spills sit on the surface. All countertop surfaces
should be wiped clean regularly. For dark scuff marks or crayon, try

Trivets and potholders will protect against heat damage, and using cutting
boards for food prep will eliminate any chance of scratching.

A. With normal use and proper care, your refinished surfaces will last for years.
