1. PREPARE: The rst step for any project is to locate a well ventilated space for completing your project.

The best place to work in is the yard or garage (with the garage door open). Once you nd the space you are

going to work in, simply spread out your drop cloth and get started!

2. PRIME: Next, apply a good quality primer, like Painter’s Touch Ultra Cover Primer. Priming forms a tight

bond to surfaces so your topcoat goes on smoother and lasts even longer. Simply shake the can for one

minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle.

Then apply the primer, holding the can 10-16 in. from your project in a steady back-and-forth motion. Apply

two or more light coats a few minutes apart to avoid drips and runs. The primer is ready to be top coated

within one hour of drying.

Tip: We recommend sanding the item lightly before you begin priming for optimal adhesion and to ensure

any loose paint or debris is removed. Use a damp clean cloth or a tack cloth to remove any dust from

surface following sanding.

3. PAINT: Next, shake your can of Stops Rust Metallic Rose Gold for one minute after the mixing ball starts to

rattle. Hold the can 10-16 in. away from the surface of the candlestick and spray using the same technique

you used to prime. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart.

4. FINISH: Your holiday candlestick will be dry to the touch in 30 minutes and fully dry within 24 hours.
