You’ve taken a smart step towards preserving the look of your
automobile. With Rust-Oleum automotive touch-up paints, you can
match the exact color and nish of your car’s exterior with condence.
Just use this simple guide to nd your Rust-Oleum paint match.
A. Universal Items
Universal items are listed for every year. These items include primers
and clear coats.
B. Paint Color Code
Each vehicle manufacturer lists the correct color for its appropriate
models and years. A diagram of code locations appears at the front of
each manufacturer book in the instructions section. If you cannot nd
the paint color code on your vehicle, contact the manufacturer or its
nearest dealership for location assistance.
C. Color Name
Do not select a touch-up color by name only. The specic model paint
color code for each manufacturer is the only way to ensure color
accuracy when buying touch-up paint.
D. Scratch & Chip Repair Brush & Marker Applicator
A six or seven digit code indicates your car color is available in a 0.5 .
oz. Scratch & Chip Repair. Import colors start with the manufacturer
abbreviation: For example MZ = Mazda, VW=Volkswagen, etc.
E . 8 oz. Automotive Touch-Up Spray
8 oz. sprays will begin with either an ATU, UNI, CC, or PRI.
