Rust-Oleum
®
Metallic Bright Reflective Finish is designed
to produce a bright, shiny and distinctive finish. This
metallic paint is recommended for interior automotive
accessories and including helmets, bikes, and more. The
Bright Reflective finish features an advanced spray system
that allows you to spray at any angle, even upside down
for those hard to reach areas. A comfort spray tip with a
wider finger pad reduces fatigue caused by continuous
spraying
Metallic Bright Reflective Finish is not rub-resistant. It is
also not resistant to outdoor conditions. For interior use
only.

.PRODUCT APPLICATION (cont.) .
PRIMING
Use of a Rust-Oleum Primer provides added corrosion
protection on metal and promotes adhesion and hiding. A
primer is especially recommended for metal and plastic
surfaces. Recommended primers include 249321 Primer
Sealer and any of the sandable primers (249419 Red,
252472 Light Gray, or 249415 Gray).
APPLICATION
Shake can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball
begins to rattle. If mixing ball fails to rattle DO NOT
STRIKE CAN. Contact Rust-Oleum. Shake often during
use. Hold can upright 10-16” from surface and spray in a
steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each
stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface.
Keep the can in motion while spraying. Apply 2 or more
light coats a few minutes apart. Do not use near open
flame.
DRY & RECOAT
Dry and recoat times are based on 70ºF and 50% relative
humidity. Allow more time at cooler temperatures. Dries to
touch in 10 minutes and is fully dry in 30 minutes. Apply a
second coat if necessary at any time. Do not apply a clear
topcoat.
CLEAN-UP
Wipe off tip when finished. Clean-up wet paint with xylene
or mineral spirits. Properly discard empty container. Do
not burn or place in home trash compactor.
CLOGGING
If the valve clogs, twist and pull off spray tip and rinse in a
solvent such as mineral spirits. Do not insert any object
into can valve opening.
