CONFIGURATION
Connections
Microphone - A microphone with an on/o switch is recommended for use
with the XZone70V. Connect the microphone using the Phoenix connector on
the rear panel.
Automatic Ducking - The XZone70V will automatically reduce the volume of
any source when it detects an audio signal on the microphone input.
Adjusting the Microphone Gain - There are two dierent controls for
adjusting the microphone volume level on the XZone70V. In order to set the
appropriate level, we recommend following these steps:
1. Pause or Mute the currently playing audio source
2. Set the front panel Mic Volume control to maximum (clockwise rotation)
3. Set the rear panel Microphone Gain control to minimum (counter-
clockwise rotation)
4. While speaking into the microphone, slowly adjust the rear panel
Microphone Gain control until the volume level is at the maximum level
you want to achieve.
Note: The XZone70V must be turned on for the microphone to work. The input
works for any operational state of the XZone70V: playing music, paused, or
muted.
