Click the Blue “Settings” button at the top of the Flight Info widget to configure the different data items that are
shown.AllofthepossiblepiecesofinformationarefeaturedintheItemstoDisplaylist,withacheck‐boxdenoting
whetherthatitemwillappearintheFlightInfo panelornot.Simplyclickthecheck‐boxnexttoaniteminthelistto
includeitintheFlightInfopanel,orclearthecheckboxtohideit.
Currently,thefollowingdataitemsareavailablefortheFlightInfopanel:
• FPS – This item shows the current Frames PerSecond(FPS) of the system. If you have VSync enabled (see
thesystem>programsetup>displaymenuformoreinformationonthis)thentheFPSwillbelockedtothe
refresh‐rateofyourdisplay.
• Resolution–ThisitemdisplaysthecurrentdisplayresolutionyouarerunningPhoenixin.
• Altitude–Thisitemshows thecurrentaltitudeofthemodelabovegroundlevel,inyour currentlyselected
unitsfordistance.
• Velocity–Thisitemshowsthecurrentvelocityofthemodel,inyourcurrentlyselectedunitsforspeed.
• Heading–Thisitemshowsthecurrentheadingthatthemodelispointingtowards.
• Distance–Thisitemshowsthecurrentdistanceofthemodel fromyour pilot’sviewingposition.
• WindHeading–Thisitemdisplaysthecurrentwindheading.
• WindSpeed–Thisitemdisplaysthetotalwindspeed,includinganygusts.
• Throttle–Thisitemshowsyour currentthrottleinputfrom0–100%.
• Gear–Thisitemshowsthecurrentstateofyourmodel’slandinggear.
• Elevator–Thisitemshowsthecurrentelevatordeflectionindegrees.
• Rudder–Thisitemshowsthecurrentrudderdeflectionindegrees.
• Left/RightAileron–Theseitemsshowthecurrentdeflectionoftheleftandrightaileronsindegrees.
• Flaps–Thisitemshowsthecurrentflapsdeflectionindegrees.
• RotorRPM–ThisshowsthecurrentRevolutionsPerMinute(RPM)oftherotor‐head.
• Collective–Thisitemshowsthecurrentcollectivepitchofthemainrotorsindegrees.
Whenyouarefinished,pressAccepttoreturntoMainViewwithyourchanges,orCanceltoreturnwithoutsaving.
Variometer
Thismenudi splaystheVariometerWidget,whichshowsinformationrelatedmainlytoglidermodelssuchasvertical
rateofascent/descentandaltitude.
ThemaindisplayontheleftoftheVariometershowsthecurrentrateofascentordescentofthemodelinbar‐form.
Thehighertheascent‐rateofthemodel,themoregreenbarswillfill.Astheascentratedrops,lessgreenbarswillbe
filleduntilnoneremain.At thispointthemodelwillbelevel.Asthemodelstartstodescen d,moreredbarswillstart
tofill.Thereisalsoareadouttothetop‐rightoftheVariometershowingthecurrentrateofascent/descentinyour
currentlyselectedunitsforspeed.
Beneath the ascent/descent rate rea dout is a larger readout showing the current altitude of the model in your
currentlyselectedunitsfordistance.
Aswellasthevisualascent/descentdisplay,theVariometerwillalsoemitanaudiotonewhichletsyoukeeptrackof
the rate of ascent/descent without needing to look at the Variometer display. When your model is ascending, the
tonewill bebroken,andwillriseinfrequency thefasteryourmodelascends.Whenyourmodelisdescending,the
tonewillbeconstant,andwilllowerinf requencythefasteryourmodeldesce nds.
YoucanusethelargerMute/unmutebuttonatthebottom‐rightoftheVariometertomute/unmutetheaudiotone.
Thesmallerb uttonstothetopandbottomrightofthemute/unmutebuttonwillturntheVariometertonevolume
upanddownrespectively.
