4.3 CPE LAN Side Network configuration
The CPE can act as “Router” or as “Bridge”. In router mode the CPE has DHCP function to allocate IP address to the
user devices, while in bridge mode the IP allocation is done in the network resources (such as MicroNOC).
 Clarification: bridge mode is layer 3 bridge and not layer 2 bridge
To configure the LAN interface select in the menu “Network Configuration”, and “LAN Networking”

4.3.1 Router / Bridge selection
The selection between router and bridge operation mode is done on the “Operation Mode Configuration” and should be
followed by “apply” immediately.
