Connecting the Ballast to the AC/Lamp Control Input Panel: Connect the AC
power, lamp ballast control cable and lamp ballast safety interlock cable to the AC/lamp
control input panel as shown in
Figure 3-23.

The Projector Status LED indicates the current operating state of the projector, as follows:
• OFF: Projection head is unplugged.
• Amber: Head is plugged in but turned off.
• Green: Normal operation.
• Red: Error preventing normal operation.
During operation, the AC voltmeter displays the number of AC volts reaching the
projector. Monitor this and make sure the display reads within the acceptable nominal AC
range (200-240) at all times. If the window is dark, this indicates that the projection head is
either unplugged or not powered up, or that inadequate, excessive or faulty AC has
automatically “tripped” (opened) the ballast breaker and caused a shutdown.
