Before installing the projector lamp, check the lamp cradle (anode end) location and adjust
as necessary; see
Figure 3-7. For a 2.0-kW lamp, move the cradle to the rear position,
approximately 1” closer to the reflector.

To complete the lamp installation, refer to Lamp and Filter Replacement on page 91 for
detailed instructions. Observe all warnings, and wear protective clothing and shielding.
Liquid CoolingDuring operation, a closed loop of flexible tubing circulates liquid coolant from a small
reservoir to critical electronic components located near the front of the projection head.
The coolant (a 50/50 mix of distilled water and ethylene glycol) should fill slightly more than
half of the reservoir to ensure adequate circulation. The reservoir, which is located in the
igniter compartment, is factory-filled and does not require draining for transit. Check the
coolant level regularly.
