Fleet Management System (FMS)
Fleet management can include a range of functions,
such as vehicle nancing, vehicle maintenance,
vehicle telematics (tracking and diagnostics), driver
management, fuel management and health & safety
management. It can remove or minimize the risks
associated with vehicle investment, improving efciency,
productivity and reducing their overall transportation
costs. A main function of the eet management software
is to gather, store, process, monitor, report on and
export information. The most basic function in all eet
management systems is the vehicle tracking component
which is usually GPS based.

IEIMobile in-vehicle computing solutions provides free
eet management software demo, the IEI FMS. This
software is based on client/server architecture. The
server-side software is contained in the bundled CD to
be installed in Windows® desktop PC. The client-side
software is pre-installed in each IEIMobile in-vehicle
computing device. IEI FMS demonstrates most basic
function of eet management software such as to gather,
store, process, monitor, report on and export information.
