SIGHT INSTALLATION
FRONT SIGHT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Remove magazine and ensure the chamber is empty.
2. Unscrew clamp assembly and place sight so as to allow the clamp screw to rest in the
forward gas block cross slot. Sight should be orientated to fold to the rear. (See
Figure 30.)
3. Apply one drop of thread locking compound on the exposed threads and replace
clamp and tighten while pushing sight forward against cross slot. (See Figure 31.)
OPERATION
1. To raise the sight, grasp and pull up until sight locks in upright position.
2. To fold, depress the button located on the left side of the base and fold (see Fig. 30).
ZEROING PROCEDURES
1. Fire a group and measure from the point of aim to the point of impact.
2. Adjust the front sight for elevation only. Adjustments can be made with an AR-15
front sight tool, AK74/47 tool, or needle nose pliers.
3. Confirm zero with a group of aimed shots.
ADJUSTMENT
1. To move the bullet impact up – turn sight blade to the right/clockwise.
2. To move the bullet impact down – turn the sight blade to the left/counter clockwise.
1/8 Turn / 45 Deg = 1” shift at 100m 1/4" shift at 25m
1/4 Turn / 90 Deg = 2” shift at 100m 1/2" shift at 25m
1/2 Turn /180 Deg = 4” shift at 100m 1” shift at 25m
1 Turn /360 Deg = 8” shift at 100m 2” shift at 25m
