1. Verify that the hammer is in the fully cocked position. Ensure that the barrel
chamber is unloaded and nothing is in the bore of the barrel.
2. Turn the slide bottom up, turn
the barrel link forward and place
the barrel into the slide from the
front. See Figure 21.
3. Insert the barrel bushing into the
slide and rotate it clockwise to
lock it into place. See Figure 22.
