KEY CHAIN
PEPPER SPRAY
The Ruger Ultra Pepper Spray System features the same capabilities
of the Key Chain Pepper Spray, plus:
1. WAR NI NG When practicing do not press
the Thumb Trigger.
Before attaching your Key Chain Pepper Spray
to your keys, familiarize yourself with the device.
2. Unsnap the leather pouch that contains the
pepper spray bottle. The red Lock Tab should be
pushed to the side in the lock position so that
the Spray Nozzle opening cannot be seen
through the notch in front of the device.
Slide the red Lock Tab over so the nozzle opening
shows through the notch in the front of the device.
This is the unlocked position. Practice moving
from locked to unlocked until you are comfortable
with this operation.
3. Your Pepper Spray will shoot from the Spray Nozzle
at a slightly upward angle. A sweeping spray motion
is most effective in ensuring you hit your intended target.
Point the Key Chain Pepper Spray at the aggressor and
press down firmly with your thumb on the Thumb Trigger
to release the Pepper Spray. (Do not press button while
familiarizing yourself with the product).
4. Now that you are familiar with the operation of your
Key Chain Pepper Spray, place the Lock Tab in the
locked position and store the bottle in the snapped
leather pouch. Attach your Key Chain Pepper Spray
to your keys, bag or other item.
Please ensure that you are familiar with the operation
of your Key Chain Pepper Spray, and that you are
aware of the applicable laws in your area with respect
to the use of this type of product.
