pistols are centerfire, compact, double action,
magazine-fed, autoloading, recoil-operated pistols chambered for the .45 Auto
(.45 ACP) cartridge. They incorporate a different “link-less” design in the barrel
locking/unlocking system than earlier Ruger P-Series pistols, and feature a
streamlined slide and Isoplast
®
polymer grip frame construction. They comply
with the requirements of the National Institute of Justice Standard - 0112.00.
