2. Pull slide to the rear and
lock in the open position by
pushing upward on the
manual slide hold open.
(see Figure 3).
3. Inspect the chamber and
verify that it is empty (see
Figure 4).

4. Retract the slide slightly
and release it (see
Figure 5). This will
disengage the manual
slide hold open and
allow the slide to move
fully forward.
