How to place the appliance in a surround
Remove the packing material and make sure that the
fireplace is not damaged before installation.
In case it is damaged, contact your supplier.
Remove the two U-shaped lugs on the sides of the appliance.
Place the fireplace in the surround from front to back.
Place the two U-shapes lugs back on the sides of the fireplace, press these against
the surround before fixing the straps.
Safety information
Intended use
This appliance can be permanently attached to a wall as a decorative element and/or for hea-
ting purposes. It is intended solely for private indoor use, not for commercial purposes.
Warning against improper use
Do not operate the appliance unless it is firmly attached to a wall in compliance
with the safety measurements stated in these operating instructions. Never operate
the appliance as a free-standing unit.
This appliance is not suitable for recessed installation, e.g. in a chimney opening.
This appliance must not be operated in rooms with high humidity, such as ba
throoms.
The appliance must be securely fixed to a wall, with a minimum distance of 1.20 m
between the lower edge of the appliance and the floor.
Never leave the appliance unattended while switched on. Switch it off at the main
switch if you leave the room.
Do not use the electric fireplace in conjunction with a timer or other device which
could switch the unattended fireplace on automatically.
Keep combustible material such as paper, fabric, wood, plastics, petrol or solvents
away from the appliance. Take particular care to ensure that items such as
upholstered furniture or curtains are at a safe distance from the appliance.
Make sure you observe this point even when the appliance is switched off, so that
there is no danger if it is switched on accidentally.
The appliance must not be used in rooms containing highly flammable substances
(e.g. petrol, paints, solvents, gas).
Never cover the appliance. The openings must remain unobstructed to prevent
overheating in the appliance. On no account hang washing or similar items
on the appliance to dry.
Clean the ventilation openings regularly. In particular, be sure to remove all dust
from the top of the appliance.
Do not leave children or pets unattended in the vicinity of the appliance. Explain to
children the dangers that can arise from this appliance.
Keep the remote control out of reach of children. Children could operate the fire
place incorrectly.
Keep the packaging film away from children (danger of suffocation).
This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) who have limited
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or who lack the necessary experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety.
