6.5.16 Push To Talk
This feature enables the handset to function like a Walkie Talkie by pressing and holding the mute-button on the
left side of the handset.
By selecting “Push To Talk” it can be disabled or enabled by selecting either “Off” or “On”, respectively. For this
feature to work it needs to be enabled on at least two handsets on the system.
When the “Push To Talk” feature has been enabled in “Settings” enter idle to use it. In idle, press and hold the
mute-button on the left side of the handset and a “Calling” screen is displayed shortly followed by a “Connected”
screen. As long as mute is pressed it is possible to talk to the other handsets on the system that has the “Push To
Talk” feature enabled. To end this mode just stop pressing on the mute button. In this way, other users on the
system have the possibility to respond to you by pressing and holding their mute button.
