6.5.15.1 Enable/disable
Bluetooth can either be enabled or disabled on the handset. The handset can only be paired with a Bluetooth
device when Bluetooth is enabled. With Bluetooth enabled an icon is displayed in the status bar to indicate
that Bluetooth is enabled on the handset.
In the status bar, the Bluetooth icon is shown if Bluetooth is enabled, but the handset is not paired with any
Bluetooth devices. This Bluetooth icon is displayed if the handset is paired with a Bluetooth device.
6.5.15.2 Search for devices
To search for Bluetooth devices the Bluetooth function needs to be enabled before the handset can find any
devices. For the Bluetooth device to be found by the handset search it needs to be in pairing mode. Until the
handset has found any Bluetooth devices in pairing mode a searching screen as displayed below is seen.
As seen above, the Bluetooth devices in pairing mode will be listed as they are detected by the handset. At first
the ID of the Bluetooth device will only be shown, but waiting a little while the name of the device will appear on
the handset screen. In this way it is easy to locate if it is the wanted device that the handset is about to connect
to.
