PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
I have nowhere to
plug in the base
station.
•Yourcomputerorother
equipment may be occupying
the Internet connection port.
•Getarouter,allowingyoutoattachmore
units to the same Internet connection port.
If you are buying a new one, we recommend
a peer2peer-friendly router.
I have problems with
my DUALphone.
•Youarenotusingthelatest
software.
•Thereisaproblembetween
your DUALphone and the
device (modem/router/switch)
to which it is connected.
•UpdatethesoftwareviaSettings>
Advance d>Firmware update> Latest
firmware.
•Restartyourmodem/router/switchandthen
restart the base station by turning the power
off and on.
I cannot sign in to
Skype.
•Youareusinganincorrect
Skype name and/or password.
•YouhavenoSkypeaccount.
•Yourbasestationisnot
connected to the Internet.
•Thebasestationhasnotbeen
provided an IP address.
•ChecktheSkypenameand/orpasswordand
try again. Be sure to enter large and small
letters and special characters correctly.
•CreateaSkypeaccountviaStatus>Create
new account.
•Checkthatallcablesareattachedcorrectly.
•CheckviaSettings>Information that an
IP address is shown under IP address. If not,
check your Internet connection. If you are
using a router, switch or hub, restart the
device(s) and then restart the base station.
