Deregistration
1) The registration in an extension unit is deleted by power cycling the unit 5 times after each other. The power
must not be on for more than 4 seconds at time during this.
2) In practice the procedure is as follows: When an extension unit is registered, its LED will initially slow flash
between green and red. This means that the first color after power up is not
red. To deregister all you have to do is
keep power cycling the extension unit as soon as you see its LED is not
red after power on. After the 5th power up
the LED will be
red indicating that the extension unit is not registered any longer.
* Note, that deregistering an extension unit only removes the subscription data from the extension unit, not from
the base.
