INSTALLATION Registration 1) Make sure the power to the base unit is switched on. 2) The registration described in this section is based on RTX fixed device, TLE base. This may not be applied to Thomson’s fixed device unless the registration procedure is specified by Thomson and agreed by RTX. 3) Whenever an Extension Unit is not registered it will transmit a special pattern by pulsating the line voltage.
Deregistration 1) The registration in an extension unit is deleted by power cycling the unit 5 times after each other. The power must not be on for more than 4 seconds at time during this. 2) In practice the procedure is as follows: When an extension unit is registered, its LED will initially slow flash between green and red. This means that the first color after power up is not red.
