2a Overview Sound Bar main unit Built-in subwoofer Power button: Press to turn the Sound Bar main unit on or to standby mode. LED display: It indicates the Sound Bar status (e.g. volume level, FTV streaming). USB Type A connector Source button: Press to switch the audio source among FTV/Bluetooth/Optical/ HDMI ARC/USB modes. Optical input connector ~AC IN AC input power connector Bluetooth button: Press to select the Bluetooth source. Press and hold to enter pairing mode.

3a TV Place your Sound Bar You are recommended to place the Sound Bar on the top of the table and right below the center of your TV. 3b Wall mount your Sound Bar TV Required tools: • Place the supplied wall mount template on the wall. Make sure the wall mount template is at least 2 inches (5cm) below the center of the TV. 1 • Use a level to make sure the Sound Bar is positioned accurately. 2 • Use the tape to stick the wall mount template firmly on the wall.
3b Wall mount your Sound Bar Required tools: 7 8 9 • Insert the supplied wall anchors into 2 screw holes on the wall. 7 • Insert the supplied wall bracket screws through the wall brackets into the wall anchors. 8 • Fix and tighten the wall bracket screws on the wall. 9 Required tools: • Insert the supplied wall mounting screws into the screw holes in the back of the Sound Bar main unit. 10 • Hang the Sound Bar main unit on the wall mount brackets.
4a Connect to your TV by HDMI ARC Use the supplied HDMI cable.
4b Connect to power Use the supplied power cord. Standby power consumption: < 2W 5 Install or Replace Batteries in the Voice Remote with Alexa 1 Battery type: 1.
6 Pair Sound Bar and Voice Remote with Alexa 1. Make sure your Sound Bar and TV are powered on. 2. Make sure you select HDMI (ARC) as the source on the TV. 3. Press on Voice Remote with Alexa. > FT is displayed on the Sound Bar. > For first time setup, you will see a pairing request shown on the TV screen. 4. Place Voice Remote with Alexa next to the Sound Bar. 5. Press and hold on Voice Remote with Alexa for 10 seconds until the LED on the top of the remote starts to rapidly flash amber.
Optical connection You can also connect the Sound Bar with your TV or other audio devices through the supplied optical cable. The preferred connection is through HDMI and the HDMI CEC features are not available on optical connection.
Pair with your Bluetooth device You can stream music from your mobile device via Bluetooth. 1. Press . 2. Press . > BT is flashing on the LED display. The Sound Bar is ready to pair. 3. Power on your Bluetooth device and activate its Bluetooth function. 4. Select TCL Alto 8+. > You hear a sound signal. > Pairing is successful.
General settings Sound modes Press , then (up/down) to select among 3 different sound modes: MOVIE/MUSIC/NEWS. Audio sources Press , then (left/right) to select among different audio sources: FTV/Bluetooth/Optical/HDMI ARC/USB.
Sound Bar LED display The LED display on the front of the Sound Bar gives you information about different Sound Bar status.
Frequently asked questions Does this work with any TV? The Sound Bar is compatible with any TV that has one of the below ports: 1. HDMI 2. Optical (Fire TV is not available on optical connection.) Will this work with any a HDTV that is not a smart TV? Yes, the Sound Bar will work with any TV as long as it supports one of the below ports: 1. HDMI 2. Optical (Fire TV is not available on optical connection.) When Sound Bar and TV are both on, there’s an echo effect and audio is out of sync.
Frequently asked questions How many sound modes are available? Three sound modes – Movies, Music and News. How do I get the best Wi-Fi connection? • Use the 5GHz band on your wireless router if available for best Wi-Fi performance. • If you see a lock icon, your Wi-Fi network requires a password, so make sure you have it available. • Ensure your Internet is working properly. Restarting your router and modem will solve most Wi-Fi network issues.
