Staples and Paperclips
Although our shredders are safe to shred the occasional standard staple, you should remove them if possible. Also, industrial or non-standard, large size staples must
be removed. Paperclips should not be shredded at any time, as they significantly reduce the life of the shredder. Please remove staples and paperclips from paper
before shredding.
MAINTAINANCE
Shut off the switch and unplug the cord before service it.
Use a cloth dampened with a diluted neutral detergent to clean the dirt on the surface of the machine.
• Never use petroleum, essential oil, diluent or silver power on this product.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom Cause Solutions
Unit does not work
Unit not set to Auto selection Set the selection to “auto” mode.
Paper Not touching paper sensor Ensure the paper is fully inserted into the paper entry.
Cutting suspended
Built-in Overheat Protection Allow the shredder to cool down for about 40 minutes before restarting
Paper Jam Use the ”reverse” and “forward ” selections to clear paper jam.
 Extensive use of paper clips or other hard materials will result in damages to the cutting system and will void the manufacturer’s
