CS-06D BOX CONTENTS Cross Cut Shredder 'Pick up and Go' Handle Use to assist in empting the waste bin or taking the shredder from location to location PARTS Waste bin Stores the shredded paper Power Switch Slide the switch to AUTO before use. Should a paper jam occur, slide the switch to REV or FWD to clear the paper jam . Turn off the shredder when not in use.
OPERATION 1. Place the shredder on a desk, tabletop, floor or other flat surface. 2. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. 3. Slide the switch to AUTO selection • When slide the switch is set to AUTO selection, the device is ready to be used. 4. Insert paper. 5. Slide the switch to OFF after use. • The shredder may emit some heat when in use. This is normal. • Note: Do not inset hard objects like card stock, CD/DVD’s into the shredder. CAUTION 1.
CS-06D Staples and Paperclips Although our shredders are safe to shred the occasional standard staple, you should remove them if possible. Also, industrial or non-standard, large size staples must be removed. Paperclips should not be shredded at any time, as they significantly reduce the life of the shredder. Please remove staples and paperclips from paper before shredding. MAINTAINANCE Shut off the switch and unplug the cord before service it.
LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY This warranty applies to repair or replacement of product found to be defective in material or workmanship for one year from the date of the original purchase. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from abuse, misuse, improper maintenance or damage that is attributable to acts of nature. CS-06D CONTENU DE LA BOÎTE Déchiqueteuse à lacération transversale Poignée de transport « Pick up and Go » Permet de vider la corbeille ou de transporter la déchiqueteuse d'un endroit à un autre. PIÈCES Corbeille à déchets Reçoit le papier déchiqueté. Interrupteur d'alimentation Glissez l'interrupteur à la position « AUTO » (automatique) avant d'utiliser l'appareil.
FONCTIONNEMENT 1. Placez la déchiqueteuse sur un bureau, une table, un plancher ou sur une surface plane. 2. Insérez le cordon d'alimentation dans une prise électrique. 3. Glissez l'interrupteur à la position « AUTO » (automatique). • Lorsque l'interrupteur est en position « AUTO » (automatique), la déchiqueteuse est prête. 4. Insérez le papier dans l'appareil. 5. Glissez l'interrupteur à la position « OFF » (arrêt) après avoir utilisé l'appareil.
CS-06D Agrafes et trombones Bien que nos déchiqueteuses soient conçues pour déchiqueter une agrafe régulière à l'occasion, vous devriez, si possible, les retirer. Veuillez également retirer les agrafes industrielles, non standard ou de grande taille. Les trombones ne devraient jamais être déchiquetés, car ils réduisent considérablement la durée de la déchiqueteuse. Veuillez retirer les agrafes et les trombones des papiers avant de procéder au déchiquetage.
