Hold the sunshade (A) upside down and gently shake it until it naturally falls into the open position.Then, slowly crank the handle until the cord slack is taken up. Turn the sunshade upright and insert it into the bottom pole (B). Ensure that the metal tab on the bottom pole pops into the secure hole on the sunshade. Before storing the umbrella, make sure it is closed and then tie down the umbrella to secure. 1 2 Care and Cleaning For best results, clean the frame and fabric with a damp cloth, and dry thoroughly. This will help prevent mildew by removing dirt that may accumulate. Do not clean with abrasive materials, bleach, or solvents. Store the umbrella in a dry, sheltered place when not in use.
