 Remove the Tappet cover.
 Remove the Allen screw, and the bracket -
join - hydraulic tappets.
 Gently pull out the 2 needle roller pins
holding the inlet and exhaust hydraulic
tappets.
NOTE: Remove Inlet tappet first and then
the exhaust tappet.

EX. tappet
 Remove the exhaust and inlet hydraulic
tappets carefully from Crankcase top side.
CAUTION :
Store the tappets carefully & right side up
as detailed earlier.
GEAR TRAIN REMOVAL
 Remove the bolt, copper washer, cap pivot
pin and “O” ring above the cam plate pivot
pin.
 Remove the 3mm roller locating pin.
 Remove Tappet cover by dismantling 4
Allen screws.
