Why convert audio and video?
Audio and video files are available in a wide variety of formats. While your
computer may support a wide variety of these formats, other devices and
portable video players may only support a limited number. Toast will help
you convert audio and video while optimizing them for playback on a
broad selection of portable devices including the iPod.
Toast offers wide range of conversions:

DVD-Video Disc: This project type allows you to take an unprotected
DVD-Video disc and convert the video to another format for use with
a portable device. You will have the opportunity to select individual
movies and extras as well as select the audio language.

DVD Image File: This project type allows you to convert a DVD-
Video image file to another video format for use with a portable
device. You will have the opportunity to select individual movies and
extras as well as select the audio language.

VIDEO_TS Folders: This project type allows you to take one or more
VIDEO_TS folders and convert them to another video format for use
with a portable device. You will have the opportunity to select
individual movies and extras as well as select the audio language.
■
Video Files: This project type allows you to add any supported video
files to the content area and convert them to the format or for playback
on the device of your choice.
■
Audio Files: This project type allows you to add any supported audio
files, including audio captured by CD Spin Doctor, to the content area,
and convert them to the format for playback on the device of your
choice.
