Adding ROM data to a DVD-Video Disc
When creating a DVD-Video disc, you can choose to add additional data
files to the disc that will only be accessible when you're viewing the contents
of your finished disc on a Mac or PC. When playing back your DVD on a
set-top player, these additional files will be ignored by the DVD player.
To add files to a DVD-Video disc:
1 At the top left of the Toast window, click Data and choose the DVD-
ROM (UDF) project
2 Add files or folders to the project by dragging and dropping them into
the Content Area from your hard disk or the Media Browser.
3 Click the Video category and select DVD-Video.
4 Create your DVD-Video project but do not begin recording to disc yet.
For more information on creating a DVD-Video project, see Making a
DVD or BD Video Disc on page 93.
5 Click on the More button to bring up options for your DVD-Video
project.
6 On the Disc tab, ensure that the option titled “Add data content”
checked, and then click OK.
7 Insert a blank, recordable DVD
8 Click the red Record button, choose a recorder from the list, and
configure recording options, such as Number of Copies.
9 Click Record to continue.
