Lesen Sie deshalb diese Bedienungsanleitung genau durch, bevor Sie das Heizgerät zum ersten Mal in Betrieb nehmen.

Konformitätserklärung Hiermit erklären wir, DE ROWI Schweißgeräte und Elektrowerkzeuge Vertrieb GmbH Augartenstraße 3, 76698 Ubstadt-Weiher dass die nachfolgend bezeichneten Geräte aufgrund ihrer Konzipierung und Bauart, sowie in der von uns in Verkehr gebrachten Ausführung den einschlägigen, grundlegenden Sicherheits- und Gesundheitsanforderungen der EG-Richtlinien entsprechen.
1. Produktbeschreibung 1.1 Allgemeines Konvektor-Heizgeräte übertragen durch Konvektion erwärmte Luft in den Raum. Die von untern in den Heizkörper einströmende kühle Raumluft wird im Inneren des Konvektors mit Hilfe von Heizdrähten erwärmt. Die so erwärmte Luft strömt an der Oberseite des Gerätes geräuschlos in den Raum. Die warme Luft steigt nach oben, die kalte Luft "fällt" nach unten, wo sie vom Konvektor angesaugt wird.
Überhitzungsschutz Wird die maximal zulässige Gerätetemperatur überschritten , schaltet das Gerät automatisch ab und kann erst wieder in Betrieb genommen werden, wenn das Gerät abgekühlt ist. DE Thermosicherung Als zusätzliche Sicherheitsvorkehrung ist eine Thermosicherung vorgesehen. Wenn diese auslöst und den Stromkreis öffnet, ist die Ursache dafür eine unnormale Überhitzung im Gerät.

Feuchtigkeit in Berührung kommen. P Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich für den Hausgebrauch konzipiert. Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nicht für gewerbliche Zwecke und im Freien.
Seien Sie stets aufmerksam und achten Sie immer darauf, was Sie tun. Führen Sie keine Arbeiten an diesem Produkt durch, wenn Sie unaufmerksam sind bzw. unter Einfluss von Drogen, Alkohol oder Medikamenten stehen. Bereits ein Moment der Unachtsamkeit beim Gebrauch dieses Gerätes kann zu ernsthaften Unfällen und Verletzungen führen. Für sicheren Stand sorgen. Achten Sie bei der Aufstellung des Gerätes auf eine feste und sichere Standfläche. DE Kontakt mit heißen Teilen vermeiden.
Netzstecker ziehen. Ziehen Sie bei Nichtgebrauch und vor jeglichen Wartungsarbeiten den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Griffe Verwenden. Bewegen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich mit Hilfe der dafür vorgesehenen Griffmulden. 1.7.2 Spezifische Sicherheitshinweise P V erwenden Sie dieses Gerät niemals in der unmittelbaren Nähe einer Badewanne, einer Dusche oder eines Schwimmbeckens. P Achten Sie beim Aufstellen des Gerätes auf einen sicheren und stabilen Stand.
2. Vorbereitung des Produktes für den Betrieb 2.1 Auspacken des Lieferumfangs Überprüfen Sie unverzüglich nach dem Öffnen der Verpackung, ob der Lieferumfang vollständig und in einwandfreiem Zustand ist. Setzen Sie sich umgehend mit Ihrem Verkäufer in Verbindung, wenn der Lieferumfang unvollständig ist oder Mängel aufweist. Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb, wenn es defekt ist. DE 2.

Gehen Sie dabei wie folgt beschrieben vor: 1. V ergewissern Sie sich, dass der Heizstufenschalter (siehe Abb. 2, Nr. 2) nach unten gedrückt sind, sich in Aus-Stellung befinden und die Kontrollampe aus ist.
3.3 Abschalten des Gerätes 1. S chalten Sie die beiden Schalter zu Einstellung der Heizleistung (siehe Abb. 2, Nr. 2) ab. Die roten Kontrollampen erlischen. 2. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Warten Sie, bis das Gerät abgekühlt ist bevor Sie es abdecken oder wegstellen. 3.4 Lagerung Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Staub, Schmutz und Insekten.
4.3 Instandhaltung Beachten Sie, dass bei Reparatur- und Wartungsarbeiten nur Originalteile verwendet werden dürfen. Wenden Sie sich ggf. an das ROWI Service-Center (siehe Kapitel 5). 4.4 Fehlersuche und Reparatur Störung DE Das Gerät startet nicht. Das Gerät schaltet während des Betriebes ab. Die Gebläsefunktion funktioniert nicht. Mögliche Ursache(n) Abhilfe Kein Strom oder zu niedrige Spannung. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Stecker in der Steckdose steckt. Überprüfen Sie die Netzspannung.
4.5 Reinigung und Instandhaltung durch qualifizierte Personen Wartungsarbeiten, die nicht in Kapitel 4.2 - 4.4 aufgeführt sind, dürfen nur durch das ROWI Service-Center (siehe Kapitel 5) durchgeführt werden. Bei Wartungsarbeiten innerhalb der ersten 24 Monate, die von nicht durch ROWI autorisierten Personen und Unternehmen durchgeführt wurden, verfallen sämtliche Gewährleistungsansprüche. 5. Declaration of Conformity We, ROWI Schweißgeräte und Elektrowerkzeuge Vertrieb GmbH Augartenstraße 3, 76698 Ubstadt-Weiher hereby declare that the devices designated below, based on their design and construction, as well as in the version put into circulation by us, correspond to the relevant, fundamental safety and health requirements of the EC directives.
1. Product Description 1.1 General Convector heaters transfer air heated by convection into the room. The cool room air flowing into the heater is heated inside the convector by means of heating filaments. The air heated in this way flows over the top of the appliance silently into the room. The heated air rises upwards, the cold air "falls" downwards, where it is sucked in by the convector. The circulating heat produced in this way ensures a rapid and uniform heating of the entire room.
Thermal fuse A thermal fuse is provided as an extra safety precaution. If this triggers and opens the electric circuit, the cause of this is an abnormal overheating in the appliance. In this case, the appliance must be repaired by a specialist to ensure continued safe heating. Please contact the ROWI Service Team to replace defective parts and install a new fuse. IP degree of protection P The appliance corresponds to degree of protection IP20. Only operate these appliances in an upright position.
1.6 Prohibited areas of application P T his appliance may not come into contact with water or moisture either during operation or during storage. P This appliance is only designed for household use. Do not use this appliance for commercial purposes or in the open air. P The appliance may not be used for ceiling or wall installation. 1.7 Safety information General An improper use of this appliance can cause serious and extensive harm to heath as well as immense material damage.
Look out for damage. Check the appliance for any signs of damage before putting it into operation. If defects are apparent on the appliance, it must not be put into operation on any account. Do not use sharp objects. Never insert sharp and/or metallic objects inside the appliance. Do not misuse. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those intended in these operating instructions. Check regularly. Use of this appliance can cause certain parts to become worn.
P D o not touch the appliance if your hands are moist or wet. P The appliance may not be set up and operated in environments in which acids, vapours, explosive or flammable gases are present. P Observe the specified safety distances when setting up the appliance. Keep a safety distance of min. 50 cm to all sides and to flammable materials (furniture, curtains etc.). Never set up the appliance on a long-pile carpet. P Set up the appliance so that the power plug is freely accessible at all times.

Proceed as follows for this: 1. M ake sure the heating level switches (see Fig. 2, No. 2) are pressed down, in the OFF position and the pilot lamp is off.
3. Then turn the temperature control (see Fig. 2, No. 3) clockwise to "MAX" 4. O nce the desired room temperature has been reached, turn the temperature control (see Fig. 2, No. 3) anticlockwise until you hear a distinct click. An integrated thermostat now automatically switches the appliance on and off, thereby ensuring a more or less constant temperature. When first put into operation or after a longer period without heating a short-term odour can arise. 3.3 GB Switching off the appliance 1.
P A lways clean the appliance while cool. P Pull out mains plug before any work. P Only clean the appliance with a dry, soft cloth. Never use sharp and/or abrasive cleaning agents. 4.3 Maintenance Note that only original parts may be used for repair and maintenance work. Contact the ROWI Service Centre if need be (see Chapter 5). 4.4 Troubleshooting Fault Possible cause(s) The appliance does not start. No power or voltage too low. Make sure the plug is plugged into the socket.
4.5 Cleaning and maintenance by qualified persons Maintenance work that is not listed in Chapters 4.2 - 4.4 may only be carried out by the ROWI Service Centre (see Chapter 5). In the case of maintenance work within the first 24 months that has not been carried out by persons or companies authorized by ROWI, all warranty claims shall become null and void. GB 5. Warranty 5.1 Scope ROWI grants the owner of this product a warranty of 24 months from the date of purchase.
