SAFETY
• Check that your electrical system and the appliance operate at the same
voltage. Any mistakes when connecting the appliance to the power supply
may cause irreparable damage and are not covered by the warranty.
• Stop using the product and contact an Approved Service Centre in the
following cases:
- If the product has been dropped.
- If it is not working properly.
• Never use your appliance with wet hands, or near water in a bathtub, washbasin
or any other container.
• Where the appliance is used in a bathroom, always unplug it after use, as the pre-
sence of nearby water can be a hazard, even if the product is switched off.
• Always unplug the appliance:
- Before cleaning it and maintenance.
- In the event of a malfunction.
- As soon as you have finished using it.
- If you are leaving it unsupervised, even momentarily.
• For extra protection, we recommend installing a residual current circuit breaker
(RCCB) with a trigger current not exceeding 30 mA in your bathroom's mains
power supply. Contact your installer for further advice.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its After
Sales Department or a similarly-qualified technician, to prevent any risk of electric
shock.
• Your appliance can only be repaired using special tools.
• The product is equipped with a thermal protection system.
It will cut out automatically if it overheats (for example if the rear grille becomes
clogged). Contact the After Sales Department if this occurs.
WARRANTY
Your appliance is intended for home use only.
It must not be used for professional purposes.
Any misuse shall automatically invalidate the warranty.
OPERATION
• "IONIC" SYSTEM : When you press the “Ionic” button, your appliance will auto-
matically emit negative ions that dispel static electricity.
You hair will shine and be easier to untangle.
“IONIC” SETTING:
• Slide the “Ionic” switch forward: the button will light
up, indicating that the Ionic function is active. The static
electricity in your hair will be eliminated.
• To desactivate the Ionic function, simply slide the switch
back again.
PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
When your product reaches the end of its life, be sure to dispose of it at
a dedicated waste recovery facility (refuse reception centre
).
