Travel Guides
During navigation or before you visit new places, it’s useful to know a few things about
local accommodation, transport and entertainment.
You can either buy printed books, or you can just check the virtual Travel Guides provided
by ROUTE 66 Mobile 8.
Activate Travel Service
This is a purchasable extra service provided by ROUTE 66.
In order to use the travel guides service, first you must activate (subscribe to) this service.
Subscribing means obtaining a license of use for a travel guide and for a specified period of
time.
Note: You need a valid credit card and a functional GPRS connection in order to subscribe
to this service.
Locate Travel Guides
Open the Shop catalog. Scroll the list of travel guides you can download and/or activate.
 Open – displays the content of the selected folder.
 Download – starts the downloading process.
 Show information – displays travel guide details.
