To select an individual item, scroll the list, highlight it and press the scroll key.
To deselect an individual item, scroll the list, highlight it and press again the scroll key.
When you select an item, the default alarm is automatically applied to that item.
If you select Yes, you can manually set the following settings: visual alarm, warning sound,
warning distance, warning only on route.
Note: Each time you customize a category, ROUTE 66 Mobile 8 searches all audio files
available on your phone. The list of results will be visible in the Warning sound list.
If you select No, the default settings are automatically applied.
Configure Alarm
The alarm for landmarks, POIs can be configured in two ways:
automatically, by using the default values;
manually, by customizing the preset values.
The customization procedure is the same for Alarm: Landmarks and Alarm: Points-of-
interest.
Scroll the list of warning details. Change and save the new settings.
 Visual alarm: On/Off – displays on screen the icon of category when alarm is
triggered.
 Warning sound – plays ringtone or music clip when alarm is triggered.
 Warning distance – specifies distance (in meters or yards), between you and the
POI location, when alarm is triggered.
