Synchronise License Keys
If your license keys are lost or damaged (you accidentally deleted them
from the memory card, or the memory card was formatted), you can
recover all your license keys from the ROUTE 66 server.
The content that needs to be synchronised is marked by a yellow key
.
When you select Synchronise license keys, the application
recovers the missing license keys for all items you bought, not
just for the current item!
Synchronizing your (lost / damaged) license keys is free. The
only charges will be done by the network service providers for
the network usage.
1. Select Main menu > Extras.
2. Select a category (for example, Maps).
3. Select Main menu > Synchronise license keys. The license keys
will be retrieved from the ROUTE 66 server and downloaded on your
device.
You can also recover your (lost / damaged) license keys by using the
backup feature in the ROUTE 66 Sync application. Refer to the ROUTE
66 Sync documentation for details.
Synchronise Content
If an item is deleted, lost or damaged (you accidentally deleted it from the
memory card, or the memory card was formatted), you can recover it by
“synchronizing” your own licenses with the corresponding content.
The content that needs to be synchronised is marked by a yellow key
.
When you select Synchronise content, the application
recovers the missing content for all items you bought, not just
for the current item!
