Assembly Instructions
 To avoid a dangerous sudden release of pressure that can cause severe injury, ensure that the
pressure source for the reel is turned off and the supply hose is not pressurized.
Note: Before beginning assembly/installation, purchase appropriate hardware for mounting the
reel. The mounting base has four 0.4” (10.5mm) holes for mounting on a suitable flat surface.
Note: For overhead ceiling mounting, install the reel at most 10 feet above the floor.
 Prior to mounting the hose reel, ensure that the supply hose pressure does not exceed the
maximum working pressure of the hose reel. Also check that the pressure source is turned
off and the supply hose for the reel is not pressurized.
 Unpack the reel then check that all parts are present and inspect for damage. Check reel
function for smooth rotation.
 Fasten the mounting base in the desired location. Reel dimensions and the pattern of the
mounting holes in the base are shown below. Tighten all hardware securely.
Installation of Reel
1) For overhead ceiling mounting, install reels at least 10 feet above the floor.
2) If the reel you have purchased does not have a hose included, you will need to purchase and
attach. Refer to Specifications on box to determine appropriate hose size
and length.
3) The reel base has four 0.4” (or 10.5mm) drilled holes for mounting on a suitable flat surface.
Figure 2 is a template showing the correct location of the 4 mounting holes in the base.
4) The reel is supplied with a hose guide roller bracket. The bracket position may be changed
depending on the reel mounting position. Figure 2 shows “Typical Mounting Positions”. If bracket
position needs to be changed, do the following:
a) Pull out some hose and let reel latch.
b) Remove the bolts that attach the guide roller bracket to the support post.
c) Rotate guide roller bracket to correct position, replace bolts and tighten.
