► CONSTRUCTION
ROTWILD frames set standards
and stand for quality and inno-
vation in both detail solutions
and the construction material
used. Because our aim is to build
the best possible bike. For us,
this is both a demand and a
challenge which we must always
address during the engineering
process and the choice of the
latest materials
(E.g. Aluminium AI 7046 T6, CFP). These demands are passed on to our tube
suppliers and the frame constructors who translate the stringent criteria of our
development engineers into products at the leading edge of technology. After a
complex manufacturing process, our frames are meticulously assembled as frame
sets or complete bikes at ADP in Dietzenbach/Frankfurt a.M. This is also where the
final quality control is performed; continuous quality management during the whole
manufacturing process ensures the sustained high quality, extraordinary precision
and finish of our products.
► TESTING PHASE / TEST-LAB / RACING
Prototypes are a significant milestone in the development
of production bikes. On a working model, all construction
details – not only the frame, but also the fittings – are
subjected to exhaustive function and reliability tests
within the context of long-term endurance testing. The
operational stability of new technologies and materials
are tested in our own testing facilities before being
released for serial production. The basis here is a
practice orientated, sport-related series of loading trials.
The cyclists of our FIAT ROTWILD TEAM are contributing
partners throughout the development process. They try
the material to
its limits and
beyond. Our team cyclists provide the
necessary and comprehensive feedback,
new ideas and improvement recommen-
dations for our prototypes. At the end of
the process, we have the best bike for the
intended purpose.
