– If the reader is on Wiegand mode, DIP switch 1 must be set
to the OFF position.
– If the reader is on OSDP/RS485 mode, DIP switch 1 must
be set to the ON position.
– Set the address of the reader by setting the DIP switches 5
to 8 ( Setting the address of the reader (Switch 5, Switch 6,
Switch 7, Switch 8), page 30 ).
– Check the wiring between the reader and the controller
( Wiring the reader, page 26 ).
