1. General Information
1.1 INTRODUCTION
The AC-Q4x series Access Control units are vandal resistant stand-
alone controllers. All the units are water resistant and suitable for
indoor or outdoor mounting. The unit(s) accepts up to 500 users
and allows entry via a personal identification number (PIN) and /
or by presenting a proximity card.
1.2 CONTROLLER TYPES
The different types of control units described in this manual are:
• Type 41 is PIN only
• Type 42 is PIN and proximity card
• Type 44 is PIN and proximity card, with Piezo contacts
