4.14 PIN CODE LENGTH / FACTORY DEFAULT
SETTINGS
Warning:
You must be very careful before using this command!
Changing the pin code length will also erase the entire
memory contents, including all user and special codes, and
return all codes to their factory-default settings
1) Enter the programming mode.
2) Select the desired pin code length as
followes:
a. 00 – Returns to factury defaults and sets a 4 digit code.
b. 05 - Returns to factury defaults and sets a 5 digit code.
c. 06 - Returns to factury defaults and sets a 6 digit code.
d. 08 - Returns to factury defaults and sets a 4-8 digit code.
Note:
When choosing the 4-8 option, please note that you should
either enter zeros before the code, or press pound at the end
(for example if your code is 12345, enter either 00012345 or
12345#).
• Both the Mode and Door indicators
will flash red.
3) Enter your programming code.
If the programming code is valid, all memory will be erased, you
will hear three beeps and the controller will return to normal mode
If the programming code is invalid you will hear a long beep and
the controller will return to normal mode, without erasing the
memory contents.
