3) Hereafter, are four different ways to program the normal /
bypass code and door chime.
a. Disable both Bypass Code and the
door chime.
Enter the code 0000.
b. Disable Bypass Code and enable the
door chime.
Enter the code 0001.
c. Enable Bypass Code and disable the
door chime.
Enter any code ending with 0.
d. Enable Bypass Code and enable the
door chime.
Enter a code not ending with 0.
4) System returns to its normal mode.
• You will hear three beeps.
• The Door indicator will turn off.
• The Mode indicator will turn green.
4.7 SETTING FAILSAFE/SECURE OPERATION
In this paragraph, the failsafe / fail secure operation of the door
lock and the door lock strike release time are set. Setting the
sounding period for the siren feature requires a BL-D40 External
Sounder.
1) Enter the programming mode.
2) Depress 6 to enter Menu 6.
• The Mode indicator will flash green.
