Example
Enter a new Wiegand 29-bit protocol with the following rules:
Rule 1: Bit 1 Odd parity on the bits 315
Rule 2: Bit 2 Even parity on the bits 1628
Rule 3: Bit 29Odd parity on the bits 128
Rule 4: Bits 1128 – ID data
Rule 5: Bit 310 Facility code
The new protocol appears in the
Custom Reader Settings
window.
Please note that the first character in the first row and the last character in
the third row, which represents the odd parity,
is a capital “O” and not a zero
(0).
The new protocol now appears in the list of available protocols.
The representation of each existing protocol can be viewed.
Bit 1 Odd Parity on Bits
3 to 15
(the other bits are 0)
Bit 2Even Parity on Bits 16 to 28
(the other bits are 0)
Bit 29Odd Parity on Bits 1 to 28
